Welcome to Once Upon a Photograph

Hiring a photographer takes work and research. I wanted to thank you for taking the time to look at my webpage and tell you a little bit about me.

My name is Katy Lewey and I'm a mother, daughter, wife and sister. Throughout life Photography has always been my hobby. I began my journey in 2011. While I'm still new to the journey its something that I eat, breath and sleep. My camera is always by my side. I see things (like most photographers) differently through the lens, only beauty. I had an uncle who was a professional using some of the finest original equipment. I think its safe to say I inherited his gift of love for Photography. And I'm ever so thankful for that.

While I do NOT have a "degree" in it, much like an artist, my expertise comes with lots of practice. I pride myself on my own self-teaching skills and have TONS of confidence. The world wide web is an EXTRAORDINARY place. You just can't teacher people to see things through a lens like us photographers do.
